It has been raining for 3 consecutive days already and it has caused traffic tremendously (beyond the normal day to day traffic)! South expressway was not passable this morning affected by the overflow of Laguna bay.

I was checking the news when it was commented; "The Philippines is much, much better as compared to US with regards to handling disasters." Is this true? According to the news, Filipinos are more effective in rescues that needs labor and high creativity because we lack the technology of new machines. And because many Filipinos knows this situation, people tends to survive on their own without entrusting their faith to the government.

But I guess the high spirited Filipinos makes disasters easy to handle. It has been commented worldwide that Filipinos can smile and literary makes their situation a joke in the midst of chaos. We are even misunderstood that we do not take life seriously but hey! look at the OFWs. If we are not serious about life, we won't let our families be separated, won't we?

Hopefully the sun will rise proudly today. I miss it....
